Monumental cachepot for TB Ceramiche
This ceramic cachepot or vase, with its monumental size and a refined dotted decor that enriches its warm beige color, was designed by the Italian designer and artist Tommaso Barbi.
Tommaso Barbi was born in Firenze in 1944, and during his carreer as a designer he worked in his hometown but also in Milano and Roma. He collaborated with luxury brands and private clients, working closely with Italian and American architects and interior designers, such as Renzo Mongiardino and Peter Marino. As a designer, he created mostly lighting, furniture and accessories, often using ceramic. Barbi was also an artist, working mostly with painting and sculpture. He passed in 2015.
