Rare “Palmiro” portable bar for Arthur Krupp
This rare, sculptural bottle carrier was designed by Italian architects Sergio Mazza & Giuliana Gramigna for Arthur Krupp Milano, in 1971, as part of the tableware that the duo designed for this company. It can hold up to 6 bottles.
Mazza & Gramigna were two key figures in Italian postwar architecture and design: together they designed many pieces for Artemide (which Mazza also co-founded). Gramigna was also a critic and historian, and wrote many essential books on Italian design.
