Revolving pendant lamp for Lumi
Beautiful pendant lamp by Italian designer Pia Guidetti Crippa for Lumi, from the early 1970s. This lamp is composed by two revolving rings in chrome-plated metal, that can create different shapes, and a opal glass. It hangs on a metal wire. This piece, essential and refined, is filled with a feeling of lightness and balance. Original label on the canopy.
Pia Guidetti Crippa, a scenographer, started to work in the field of design at the end of the 1960s, starting a collaboration with Lumi (the reknown lighting manufacturer based in Milan that had edited many models by Oscar Torlasco) that would last 30 years.
Very good vintage conditions. Period wiring in working conditions, no longer fitting current standards.
