Combinable “Brick System” shelf for Longato

This piece was displayed at the famous "Italy: The New Domestic Landscape" exhibition at MoMa in 1972.
The "Brick System" was inspired by Lego Bricks. The elements can be assembled together to create different shapes.
Molded plastic. Fair vintage conditions.

Condition report:
Signs of wear consistent with age and use: small scratches, yellowing of the white plastic, color fading. One pivot in one piee (out of four) is broken but it does not affect the possibilty to assemble the piece nor its stability.
The shelf can be assembled differently, but with maximum care: the pieces are stuck together and if you don't handle them carefully more pivots could break.
